Amy Leska is a Licensed Massage Therapist who was born and raised in the Columbus Ohio area. She received a Bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine from Urbana University and a Masters degree in Education from Defiance College, which she used for 6 years while practicing as a Certified Athletic Trainer for Columbus area High Schools and College. She then received her Massage Certificate from The American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus. She has been practicing Massage Therapy for the past 9 years, which includes her own practice and a corporate spa atmosphere. She has received a certification in Neuromuscular Therapy/Somatic Release (also known as Trigger Point Therapy). She also completed the Level 3 Medical Certification for an up and coming treatment known as Fascial Stretch Therapy from The Stretch to Win Institute. She is a current member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and has been very active in the Columbus area community for the past several years, including national and local charity events and health fairs.
With a career that began as an athletic trainer for local high school and college athletes, Amy developed a passion for healing others. Today Amy holds a bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine. She is also trained in Myofascial trigger point therapy and Fascial Stretch Therapy.
Amy has a passion for therapeutic healing. She has the intelligence and expertise to treat everyone as an individual.
